About Rebecca Lane Beittel, Novelist
“Nothing is hopeless; we must hope for everything.”
- Madeleine L’Engle, A Wrinkle in Time
Rebecca Lane Beittel is a novelist.
In the course of Rebecca’s career, she has been heavily involved in teaching (on a college level) and has taught developmental/remedial writing & reading, study skills, expository writing, professional/business writing, as well as American, British and World Literature. Rebecca has a firm foundation in grammar and can even diagram sentences, if so called upon. (She proofread her older brother’s masters thesis when she was only in the seventh grade!)
Rebecca writes science/speculative fiction and fantasy. Her biggest passion is story-telling — the more fantastical, the better — and now that she has both daughters in school, she has a little bit of time to write all these stories down.
You can find Rebecca at her local coffee shop, or you can contact her here: beittelrebecca@yahoo.com

Love your romantic post today….Feb 13. I’ll get more into your blog. Your writing will be wonderful. Much love, Audrey Mike
Thanks, Mike.
Sounds like a wonderful time on the Outer Banks! I always loved the small aquarium! I lived in Collington Harbor and used to swim in the sound when it was too cold to swim in the ocean. What’s taken you to the islands?
We love the aquarium too. It’s just the right size for fun exploring. AND they’ve redone it recently. This has always been my family’s favorite beach area for years. I live in NC now – although it’s a long drive out to there. I’m in the Piedmont Triad.
Hiya, I have nominated you for the Reader Appreciation Award. Not sure how you feel about blogging awards, but I can’t thank you enough for being a part of my blog!
